Eagles’ co-founder Don Henley just released his first solo album in 15 years & it’s debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Top Album chart.
The album – Cass County is not named for the Illinois county but for the Northwestern Texas area where Henley was raised. The album was recorded in both Texas & Nashville and includes appearances from Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Vince Gill & Dolly Parton.
The 68 year-old country-rocker is out on the road in support of Cass County & will be rolling through Chicago on November 8.
You can also catch Henley this Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He will also make his debut on Austin City Limits – which will air on PBS on October 24.
Cass County is available on iTunes, Amazon as well as in stores like Target – which has a special edition including two exclusive tracks.
