The Grand Ole Opry’s newest member is probably the cutest ever! The Opry has adopted a dog from Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.
The official dog of the Grand Ole Opry is a Labrador-terrier mix named Charlie.
Charlie was left on someone’s property near Miranda’s ranch in Oklahoma (when she lived with Blake.) He lived on Miranda’s Redemption Ranch all summer. Lambert brought Charlie with her to Nashville and had him come on stage with her last week.
Pry staff fell in love with Charlie and decided to officially adopt him. Charlie’s next Grand Ole Opry appearance will be next Tuesday during the annual Opry Goes Pink on October 27.
By the way – Charlie isn’t the first dog to appear on the Grand Ole Opry. Dierks Bentley’s dog Jake has made several appearances on the famous stage.
