The country superstar has finished his current Burn It Down Tour in the Sunshine State & has written a big check to the folks at the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Aldean officially closed out the tour in West Palm Beach, Florida with his 10th Annual Concert For A Cure on Saturday night.
A portion of the ticket sales for the entire Burn It Down Tour went back to the Susan G. Komen Foundation – where Aldean presented a check for $615,000 to the organization.
My best friend lost his wife to breast cancer and she was in her very early thirties. I was there. I watched it all go down. I watched him deal with that and her go through it and her leaving behind two daughters. That to me was sort of an eye-opener.
Aldean not only donate cash but also his time to breast cancer survivors who attend his concerts.
Aldean will waste no time in getting back on the road, kicking off the We Were Here Tour in January with Thomas Rhett & A Thousand Horses. The tour rolls through Bloomington, Illinois on January 16 and 17.
