The NHL has handed down their ruling for Andrew Shaw hurling a homophobic slur during the closing minutes of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the St. Louis Blues.
Shaw will miss Game 5 in St. Louis & be fined $5,000 for throwing the double-finger salute & using an anti-gay slur towards the officials on Tuesday night in Chicago’s 4-3 loss to the Blues.
The Chicago Blackhawks trail the St. Louis Blues 3-1 going into Thursday’s game at Scottrade Center.
