Kids seemingly are growing up faster & are being introduced technology even earlier.
According to a new study from the marketing group, Influence Central – the average age for a kid to receive their first cellphone is 10 years old.
These days, kids & adults alike are connected to mobile technology & social media on their phones, laptops & tablets from the time they wake up in the morning. Back in 2012, only 42 percent of children had access to their own laptop or tablet. It’s up to 64 percent today.
Tablet use rose from 26 percent to 55 percent. Studies also say that kids are getting a social media account by the age of 11 with some getting one before the age of 10.
