If you’re driving a 2013 or 2014 Ford F-150 truck you’ll want to listen up!
The recall affects around 271,000 F-150 pick-up trucks in America that have a 3.5 liter V6 engine under the hood. Representatives from Ford Motors say that brake fluid can leak from the master cylinder which can reduce the ability for the front brakes to work properly.
There have been nine alleged crashes due to the problem. No serious injuries have been reported along with the accidents.
Ford dealers will replace the brake master cylinder for free along with with replacing the brake boosters if they find leaks. Ford says it’s working with its suppliers to get replacement parts to dealers as soon as possible.
