Is this a good idea?
I’ve been all over the road analyzing this. In Springfield soon, we’ll have a Medical Clinic placed inside a Grocery Store. At first I thought a bank inside a grocery was strange. Eventually, I came to expect it. A grocery placed inside a Wal Mart. Weird at first, but now makes sense. Nail salons, Hair cutters, Insurance companies, Tax preparation, there’s no end to what you may find inside a grocery store. But – a clinic? They say it’s for “non life threatening emergencies”. OK. You step on a nail. You’re trailing blood, and you head to the grocery store. Shoppers contemplating spaghetti sauces now see you hobble in tracking blood to the clinic in the back. “Cleanup Aisle 7!” Broken arms are non life threatening. Will the grocery store be filled with the sound of a patient in extreme pain screaming? I’m just thinking out loud here. What about all the germs coming in with coughing, infected sick people? Will they walk right past the produce as I’m looking at onions? I guess this is all in the name of convenience. If so, go all the way, put the clinic at Qik N Ez.
