The country singer along with Ryman Hospitality Properties have partnered up to launch two brand new entertainment venues, which will have locations in Nashville and in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
The venues will share the same name, Ole Red – which is a nod to Shelton’s 2002 hit song, Ol’ Red. The spelling was changed to ‘Ole’ to reflect the involvement of the Grand Ole Opry, which is owned by Ryman Hospitality Properties. The Nashville location will take up 26,000 square feet and plans to open in April of 2018.
The Tishomingo Ole Red will be housed in a familiar spot, the space that used to be Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert’s Pink Pistol Boutique. Plans are to have that venue open this October.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to create something like this where people know they’re going to have a good time as soon as they walk in the door, and I couldn’t be more excited that my friends at the Opry and Ryman Hospitality Properties are making it happen.” – Blake Shelton
