A brawl broke out at the graduation ceremony for Arlington High School in Memphis.
Witnesses saidan argument started over a saved seat at the graduation. The fighting began as graduates were walking down the aisles.
Several people tried to break up the fist fight as two women were throwing punches. At one point, a woman is even knocked to the ground. Several security officers stepped in to break up the brawl but nobody called police, not even witnesses.
Arlington Community Schools released a statement:
“Last night we celebrated 500 students who graduated from Arlington High School. This year’s class earned over $30,600,000 in college scholarships. It was unfortunate that a couple of adults in the audience exhibited the behavior they did prior to the ceremony beginning and thus has caused a distraction from the celebration of our students’ accomplishments.”
No word on whether the police will get involved because of the video, or whether any charges will be filed.
